Youth and Children's Activities within PACT

There are several organisations Partnered with or Linked to PACT that focus on working with Youth and Children:

PACT Holiday Club Petersfield Holiday Club operates in the buildings and grounds of TPS (The Petersfield School) for a week in July. Some 250 children undertake a range of activities, with more than 100 adult helpers from the PACT churches.

Home-Start Butser Home-Start Butser is the UK's leading family support charity. Through a network of more than 10,000 trained parent volunteers, we support thousands of parents who are struggling to cope. Each local scheme is staffed by at least one paid Organiser, who is responsible for running the scheme and recruiting and training volunteers. The service is totally free, and confidential.

The King's Arms youth club Petersfield The King's Arms has been set up as a Charitable Company by the Christians of Petersfield to provide a facility in which young people can meet together in a safe environment. We will always listen to the needs of our young community, and put into action what they want if at all possible, or give reasons fully if they can not be achieved. There will be opportunity to find counselling if any young person needs it, from people qualified to meet that need.

Messy Church Petersfield Messy Church is for parents and children and offers an opportunity for children to take part in craft activities, a simple act of worship rounded off by a meal for eveyone. Meetings take place on the third Tuesday of each month at the Petersfield Methodist Church.

Positive Parenting Positive Parenting offer a range of courses during which parents can help and support each other by sharing experiences. Courses are sometimes run in Petersfield. They also offer a range of useful publications. Visit the Positive Parenting web site.
