New Pact Logo and Web Site Banner: October 2011

The Pact committee has for some time wished to adopt a new logo which is both up to date and contains an appropriate message.

The Koru, a Maori word meaning ‘brightness’, is a spiral based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond which symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace. The circular shape of the koru helps to convey the idea of perpetual movement while the inner coil suggests a return to the point of origin.

For PACT this reflects our vision to stand together as Christians in Petersfield and surrounding area. We have not arrived but we are on a journey and the new birth expressed in the Koru is both a statement of our commitment and an understanding of God’s heart for Petersfield. We are also responding to God’s call to bring hope and life to our community.

The banner for the web site has remained unchanged since the web site was first launched so it was thought appropriate to update this at the same time:

If you have any photographs of PACT events please send them to the PACT web master, John Studd, at webmaster@pact.org.uk. Please remember to take photographs of your PACT event - or any PACT event and send them to John.
