An estimated 300 Christian joined in the Walk of Witness through Petersfield, from the Methodist Church to Saint Peter's.
The threat of rain meant that the service, scheduled for The Square, was held in St Peter's.
The service was led by the chair of PACT, Jean Dowdeswell with music provided by The Salvation Army and Jonathan Thompson and other musicians from St Mary Magdalen.
The walkers stopped twice for readings of the Passion story.
