Many fail to see he is there

In Petersfield there is an oasis, where there is peace, tranquility and music.

One can lose oneself in quiet reflection and, if like me, end up buying something to take away and continue it. It is the Unity Christian Bookshop and for us eager to read and learn more about our faith it is really a good place to go.

A card that I bought there says:

'I believe if Jesus called me to get out of the boat, he is going to be there to help me to walk on the water.

If I start to sink, which sometimes I do, he'll reach his hand down and will lift me up.'

A very challenging statement but it is so true of our faith and has been a great comfort to me at many times.

Sometimes it is hard to realise that our prayers have been answered and we often want to hear God or Jesus answering these directly but with faith and patience, we know one way or another we will see the answer. It never ceases to amaze me how many people will not acknowledge their faith but whenever a disaster happens they nearly always say 'we pray...'.

God is all encompassing and many do not realise his care but he is there now and always, whatever the situation.
