Christian Aid Super Soup Lunch: Saturday 7 February 2015
The Methodist Church Hall was packed as many people enjoyed the Christian Aid Super Soup Lunch - there was seating for nearly 50 people and it was estimated that some 75 people enjoyed soup, bread and cheese - followed by tea, coffee and biscuits.
In addition to the meal there were stalls selling Fairtrade products, postage stamps and Sally was operating a stall selling a wide range of gifts to raise more money for this worthy cause.
Donations raiesd £481.00 with an additional £55.00 from the table top sales - a total of £536.00.
