Identify families most at risk, due to poverty and violence.

South Downs Walk

Partly as an exercise, partly as a challenge, partly as a celebration of the new National Park status and of course, to raise funds for our charity In Ministry to Children, I have decided to walk the full length of the South Downs Way, a total of just over 100 miles.

I am doing this with my very good friend John Callaghan from our church and our intention is to start towards the middle of this month, April, actually Saturday 17th, and to walk about 12/15 miles per day and splitting the whole walk into three stages.

We have been in training over the last few months although I have to say that this is quite a challenge for a 70+ year old, not completely fit guy who last did this walk with our Crusader class in 1970’s.
